The name “MogCherie” is a playful twist on the French phrase “Mon Chérie,” meaning “my darling” or “sweetheart.” “Mog” is also a British term for a lovable, non-pedigree cat—making the name every bit as charming and whimsical as Antonia’s illustrations.
